What is Capitalism? Occupy Cardiff camp, Transport House, 1 Cathedral Road. 6 – 8pm. “The Occupy Movement has been described in the press as an “anticapitalist” movement. But some supporters disagree. We all want to see society changed, to end the grip the billionairres and the banks have on our world. We want an end to injustice, inequality and the absence of democracy. Does this mean we need an end to the capitalist system, or is it possible to have a good, humane or productive capitalism? Good questions, but first of all we answer the question “WHAT IS CAPITALISM?” Short interactive workshop followed by a discussion.
