Monday 20 February

Work Day at The Red and Black Umbrella, Clifton Street. 10am-4pm. Help look after the building, by either doing DIY work or cleaning.

South Wales Anarchists meeting. The Gatekeeper, Westgate Street. 7.30pm.

Alone in the Wilderness film screening. Gwdihw, 6 Guildford Crescent. 8pm. “The amazing story of a man’s craftmanship, self-sufficiency and of the great outdoors.” More information in the Gwdihw website.

Tuesday 21 February

People’s Kitchen. The Red and Black Umbrella, Clifton Street. 6.30pm. Vegan meal, free or for donations which go towards a different cause every week.

Wednesday 22 February

Cardiff ABC. The Red and Black Umbrella, Clifton Street. Write letters and learn about political prisoners.

Thursday 23 February

At The Red and Black Umbrella, Clifton Street:

Open Day. 12-4pm.

Film Night. 7pm

Refugee Rhythms. CF10, Cardiff University Students’ Union. 7.30pm. Music from Three Pairs of Shoes, Alex Sedgemend and his didgeridoo, Under The Driftwood Tree, Cardiff Reggae Society DJs. Raising money and awareness for refugees and asylum seekers living in the UK. Food from around the world. For more information go to the Facebook event.

Saturday 25 February

Critical Mass. Meet at the National Museum, Cathays Park. 1pm. Riding around town and finishing off at Punk Bikes for drinks.

Seed Swap. Chapter Arts Centre, Market Road, Canton. 10am – 12pm.

Sunday 26 February

Renewable Energy and Self-Sufficiency Workshop. The Red and Black Umbrella. 12pm. Learn how to get energy from the sun, wind, rain, compost and other renewable sources.
